Contempure is an organic additive for traditional plastics that will have enhanced biodegradation in biologically active, microbe-rich disposal environments (biologically active landfills) and take far less time to biodegrade compared to untreated plastics. Here at Contempo we have a saying “Progress not Perfection”, while we know additives for plastics aren’t the solution to the packaging problem long term, short term we believe it is an excellent option to help cut down on the amount of plastics existing in landfills.
